WorldMark Solvang offers Danish inspired architecture and breathtaking views of the Santa Ynez Valley. A great location for relaxing, the resort features a lovely walking area and is only a few steps to the center of town with its restaurants and shops. The Chumash Casino Resort is located some 5 miles (8 km) to the east of Solvang in the Chumash Indian reservation near Santa Ynez. On-site amenities include a pool, children's pool, sauna as well as a playground, game room and exercise equipment.
The neighborhood
Solvang is a quaint family-friendly village of flower-lined streets featuring Old World Architecture, highlighted by thatch, copper and tile roofs. Solvang's many unique shops offer an assortment of imported European wares, including porcelain, collectibles and handicrafts. Restaurants feature delicious food from Denmark and bakeries are full of wonderful Danish pastries and cookies. Visitors can also enjoy Danish windmills, the statues of Hans Christian Andersen and the Little Mermaid, the half-timbered houses, the Danish rural church, the Round Tower, as well as Danish music and folk dancing.
